Elena è una donna che a 18 anni è stata colpita da sclerosi multipla e considerata matta fino a 33 per tutti i disturbi che la malattia le portava. Nonostante tutto oggi è una psicologa e psicoterapeuta affermata che ha potuto lavorare fino al 2000 con l'aiuto della terapia a base di cannabis. Interrotta la cura in quel periodo, per motivi economici, nel giro di poco tempo, si è ritrovata in carrozzina e con un indesiderato pensionamento anticipato con la 335 e la legge 104 per come si era ridotta. Dopo circa 8 mesi che aveva ripreso la cura con costanza, è tornata ad una vita dignitosa ed ha deciso di lottare affinchè anche chi non ha i mezzi possa usufruire di questa sostanza, considerata una droga, ma, al pari di tutte le altre medicine che prende per sopravvivere, le comporta meno effetti collaterali. Aiutiamo chi stà male come lei a conoscere i pregi di questa terapia, superando quei ridicoli pregiudizi che impediscono perfino la ricerca sui componenti specifici della pianta dai quali si traggono tali benefici.
