Loveparade, Ruhr metropolitan area 2007 -- 2011:The deal is clinched! The LoveParade announced on there website: It's final. We can officially confirm today what has been an open secret in the media for some time: The Loveparade is now the Ruhr Metropolitan Area Loveparade! The city of Essen will be the first venue for the event, which will take place on 25th August 2007. In successive years Dortmund, Bochum, Duisburg and Gelsenkirchen will all host the Parade.
