Chad Gray Talking About Goodbye & On The Move: "That song wrote itself quickly (Goodbye). We just basically threw that and (On the Move) together before The End of All Things to Come writing sessions. I love "Goodbye." I think it's one of my favorite songs that we've ever written. I like the vibe of it, the way that it comes across, the emotion in it and the idea behind it. It's just a really heartfelt track. It meant a lot to me to write that track from where it came from. So it was a very important song for me. While writing songs, you're trying to convey exactly what you're thinking about right at that time, and get it out of your heart and on the tape. Hopefully it makes that transition, and when you listen to it back it comes across with that kind of meaning. I think that song conveyed exactly how I was feeling at that moment of recording, because I literally finished the lyrics and walked into the studio and started tracking. It was pretty much tracked within 20 minutes of the lyrics being done."
